A concentrated liquid version of LABSA, slurry LABSA (Linear Alkyl Benzene Sulphonic Acid Slurry) finds extensive application in the cleaning and detergent sector. It is a crucial anionic surfactant that appears as a dark brown, viscous liquid and is created by sulfonating linear alkyl benzene. Because of its superior emulsifying, foaming, and cleaning qualities, Slurry LABSA can be used to make soaps, industrial cleaners, dishwashing solutions, and household detergents. In formulations for agrochemicals, leather, and textiles, it also serves as an intermediate. It must be handled carefully, stored in non-corrosive containers, and neutralized before being used in finished products because of its high acidic nature.
